We are sad to hear that our classmate and dear friend George Chuckrow passed away last night. Our classmate and his ex wife, Marnee Foldoe, let us know that George had suffered a fatal heart attack.
This is really shocking. I moved away from California for good in 1982. In the 40 years since, George was one of the few BHHS classmates with whom I stayed friends (or even acquaintances) and kept in touch. He visited me (us) here in Oklahoma City a couple of years ago during the pandemic. He seemed to be in excellent health. I certainly never thought it would be the last time I would see him.
Here is George and his son Adam when they came to visit in Philadelphia in the summer of 1983. In the background is Independence Hall. And here we are in Oklahoma City in 2021. I was kind of surprised to see the beard. Also to find out that he kept a shotgun at home.
Sincerest condolences to his wife Loretta, his son Adam, his birth family, and his stepchildren.

My heart goes out to George's family and Marnee and George's son, Adam. I am thinking of Adam at this time.
