I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing-Aerosmith

06/25/1951-01/25/2020

“I don’t wanna miss a thing”

Famously quoted by Aerosmith, also known as their wedding song.

Pamela indeed did not miss many things in her life, she lived

life to the fullest with many adventures and lots of laughter.

Pam always carried herself with outstanding confidence.

She loved a variety of music, ranging from The Beatles,

Kansas to Adam Lambert and Lady Gaga.

She had a love of Marilyn Monroe and musicals of all kinds.

Pam was a Raiders and Green Bay Packer Fan.

She absolutely loved her dogs, Lily, Cody and Stormy.

Pam is survived and loved by many family and friends.

Pam loved attending all family events and making the most out of life.

Pam will always hold a special place in our hearts.  She brought a lot of passion into the lives of people she cared about.

Pam, we could spend our lives in this sweet surrender.

We could stay lost in this moment forever.

Every moment we spent with you, is a moment

we will treasure.  We love you!

I visited Pam about 12 years ago at her home in Oregon while on a Travels with Charley road trip with my dogs.  We shared an enjoyable few hours in her home and  lunch in a local restaurant.  It was wonderful catching up after so many years.

I met Pam while we were at Horace Mann.  My parents and hers became friends.  I think we gravitatedtowards each other  during those years as we were only children.  To be fair, our pathes did not cross in high school all but a few occasional hellos.  If it had not been for the advent of social media chances are we would not have reconnected in later years, but we did.

I did not get the take life had faired well for her.  Yet,she was as kind as I always remembered her showinga deep love for her husband and children from a previous marriage.  We exchanged cards with notes for many years.  Yet, I knew something was amiss over recent years since there was no communication from her.  Rest in peace, my friend.  You will be missed.
