As reported in the 2022 Highlights and as sent to us by William Adelman, Debra Friedman passed away in Hawaii in 2020 due to pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her husband Paul and her brother Mark Friedman.
I knew Debbie as far back as 5th grade at Horace Mann. We were also both at Santa Monica College for a couple of semesters. She was always very nice. I think I still have one or two cartoons she drew. RIP, Debbie.
