Phillip James O’Connor
May 24th, 1950 - July 16th, 2025
Fly like an eagle, Daddio! You were an extraordinary dad, imparting invaluable lessons about kindness, compassion, and resilience that will forever inspire me. I'm deeply grateful for you, Dad. Though my heart is broken, I find solace knowing you're no longer in pain and are now watching over us. You embodied happiness and compassion, touching countless lives with your love for life, music, family, and friends. Your remarkable character and inspiring presence uplifted everyone around you. You were a shining example of kindness, never speaking ill of others and always offering a helping hand. You were more than just a dad - my best friend, guiding light, and constant source of inspiration! Daddio, I'll forever cherish the time we shared, and your memory will remain etched in my heart. I know you're watching over me from above, and I find comfort in that thought. May your spirit continue to inspire and uplift others forever. You are deeply loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing you. Your selfless devotion to your family will always remain strong, and I'll love you forever and always. Miss you always and love you forever, your little E

Phil was a best friend at Beverly. We first met in class. Phil sat behind me and started poking me in the back with his pencil. He made fun of my Deaey Webber T shirt. That marked a durable friendship that spanned decades. I love the sentiment expressed. Phil loved deeply and in return received the same from close friends and family. Phil, say hi to Marika and Anthony. I love you 'sanpuka eyes'. Skadunda!

Phil always smiling always joking. That's the best memory. We were both Car and speed nuts and surprised that we didn't end up a statistic. one great memory we were speeding down loma vista in his ford cortina, Heading towards my folks house at Leslie Lane. Phil hung a hard right hit the dip got us airborne for about 30 feet. The car spun around backwards into my folks driveway and stopped .There was my dad ,T-shirt shorts and a watering hose. He looked directly at Phil and turned the hose on him. Phil and I didnt stop laughing for a good ten minutes. Great memory. Phil keep on smiling. I certainly will whenever I think of you.
Rest in peace..

Very sorry to hear about the passing of a old friend, Phil. Although i hadnt spoken to Phil in a few years, we did stay in touch and saw eachother every now and then. Although Phil had some health issues, he always seemed to stay upbeat. Always had a smile and something humerous to say; great sense of humor. Never a bad word about anyone! Loved his family. Always invited me to visit him in Alaska and sorry now, i never got around to it. Sadly, Phil now joins our classmates and close friends, Billy, Cindy, Casey, Kincade, Decker, and unfortunately, a lot more. Shows you, life is too short. Enjoy it while you can. May Phil rest in Peace.
