Since we shared the same last name of Friedman, Robin, who I knew as Robbie, often found ourselves next to each other in lines for activities both at Hawthorne and Beverly. And, we had lockers next to each other throughout Beverly. I don’t think we ever moved in the same social groups, but we were always friends and enjoyed chatting and joking when we were together. I recall that our conversations always cheered me up and made me smile. He was a kind person and I am so very sorry to learn of his passing. My sympathies to his family

I am shocked and saddened to hear this! We ran together as kids and had some fun, his dad and mine were close buds and they lived across street on Loma Vista. I remember Robin Reid, musician... good guy all around. To all those close to him my deepest sympathies for this loss, way too soon.

Robbie lived on Loma Vista, I lived on the street above him and our houses shared a property line.  We would climb down, or up, and hang out, sometimes with his older brother.  In those days Trousdale was not built out, we explored empty lots and half built houses, at times with Alan Harris.  Robbie was an enthusiastic high energy person with a sarcastic sense of humor in the best sense.  Lost contact after BHHS, but warm memories of Robbie.

I remember Robin as a sweet soul, always friendly and happy to connect.

Another loss for class of '69.

A kind face, a kind word, and a decent man that will be missed from different parts of the hallways and streets that were fortunate to have known him.
