We have heard from Candice Naiditch about the passing of Cathy Smerling.  Here is the message from Candice.

Cathy and I were friends from our days together El Rodeo to her passing last year. Decades of long-distance phone calls, FaceTimes, cross country visits and sharing the stories and events of our lives with each other . She was generous with her love, and all that knew her in her later years held her in the highest esteem. She was a close friend and confidant, I am deeply saddened with her passing….she will truly be missed❤️💔❤️
