May Howard be in a better place.  Although, I did not know him I remember his face.  My heart goes out to his family and friends.

I'm sorry to hear of Howard's passing. We spent alot of time hanging out junior and senior years. Traveling to playoff football and basketball games, stopping off for Ferrals ice cream. Marathon night ping pong matches with Bill Weston.

We lost touch after high school but Howard was a great guy and a good friend.

As we enter the 4th quarter of our lives it is always sad to hear of a classmate passing.

I went to grammar school and high school with Howard. I didn't know him but I knew he was a good guy. He's another Hawthorne family member who has passed. My condolences to his family. RIP Howard. You are remembered.

I am so saddened to learn of Howard's passing.  During our high school and some college years, Howard's family of six invited my family of four to their home for their annual Passover Seders.  Howard typically led the Seders, and always in an entertaining, lightheartend manner with a fair amount of appropriate humor.  Throughout our high school years, Howard was good natured, jovial and warm.  Anyone who knew Howard could not help but like him.  Although Howard and I drifted apart over time, our parents remained close friends and I stayed in contact with his mom, Lee Sutton.  Howard passed away on November 5, 2022 after two bouts with bladder cancer.  According to his family members, Howard did not have Alzheimer's disease, but was experiencing dementia.  Howard is survived by his mom (now in her 90s), Howard's younger brother Steven (BHHS Class of 1977), his two sisters, and three children.  Rest in peace Howard.
